Portwest’s EV4 range needed to feel technical, modern and built for real working environments — not just shown as clothing on models, but placed into a world where performance, movement and conditions mattered.
What we did
For Portwest’s EV4 range, we created a campaign shoot that gave the clothing a tougher, more technical feel. Filmed and photographed at a quarry in Yorkshire, the location gave us the grit, scale and control we needed to show EV4 in a more demanding environment.
The shoot combined cinematic location work, controlled studio material, product details and technical props including land-scanning and drone-scanning equipment. The result was a set of film and photography assets that made EV4 feel modern, capable and built for real-world performance.
Technical authenticity
We brought in RIEGL UK with real land-scanning and UAV / drone-scanning equipment.
This helped the film and photography feel more authentic, modern and connected to the environments EV4 is designed for.

Photography and film,
working together
The shoot was planned to deliver both film and photography together — something that sounds simple, but rarely happens well without careful production. Stills and video often need different pacing, lighting and model direction, so we built the schedule around both from the start.
With Adrian leading photography and live image review links shared with Portwest, we were able to capture high-res campaign imagery alongside the film work, giving the EV4 range a consistent set of assets across video, stills, product details and wider location shots.
A shoot for all seasons
Shot across changing conditions — from full sun and real rain to created snow imagery.
